Clara Silverstein contributes to the food pages of The Boston Globe, Runner’s World and Prevention. For this project, she visited the White House garden, closely observing its progress and asking questions of White House gardeners and chefs, as well as student volunteers and Michelle Obama.
Ms. Silverstein, who is passionate about healthy, delicious eating, has spoken about the White House garden at the National Archives and at many community gardens across the country.
